Jackie & Scott didn’t just want to have a beautiful wedding, they wanted to have a FUN wedding. A celebration that brought all their fun-loving friends and family together to make the first day of their married lives together the BEST DAY EVER. I think they’d both say it was a GREAT SUCCESS.  We looked forward to this wedding all year. We had already met most of the family members on Jackie’s side when we photographed her brother and sister-in-law’s wedding a couple of years ago, so it was fun knowing ahead of time that this wedding would be filled with REALLY GREAT people. The ceremony was out on the lawn at Las Posadas Ranch and Vineyards, in the golden fall sunshine.Perfect weather, vineyards surrounding the property….. it was perfect. TAKE ME BACK.  To make things even sweeter, Jackie and Scott have 3 children and have blended together to make a beautiful family. Being a mother within a blended family myself, the emotions ran high for me. It brought me back to the day Scott & I married, 16 years ago, and our children became siblings. I cherish the moment we all hugged at the end of the ceremony, it’s a moment I won’t forget, and seeing their family have that same moment was something special to me, personally. Jackie & Scott have made something special together. We admired their obvious love for one another all day long. I’m pretty sure the road to this true love hasn’t been the easiest to travel, but I’d bet my bottom dollar they’d say it’s been more than worth it.
After a beautiful dinner and toasting the bride and groom on the lawn, the party headed inside for some dancing, made extra fun by the Cripple Creek Band. There was a lot of laughing and loving and a few happy tears were shed. No one would be exaggerating to say it was the PERFECT wedding day.
